International Trade Volume Grows at Turkmenistan’s Exchange
Last week, 24 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan. The total value of contracts concluded with foreign partners exceeded $14.6 million.
Business representatives from Afghanistan purchased liquefied gas produced by the state concern Turkmenhimiya.
Entrepreneurs from Turkey, the UAE, India, Serbia, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan also bought cotton yarn, denim products, thick liquorice root extract, wheat flour, Portland cement and aerated concrete blocks.
In addition, domestic entrepreneurs purchased base oil, road petroleum bitumen and polypropylene produced by the state concern Turkmennebit, as well as wheat flour, cotton yarn and cotton fabric for the domestic market, with the total value exceeding 253.6 million manats.
