Turkmenistan is taking measures to strengthen the material and technical base of the railway sector and increase the capacity of the national railway network.

Particular attention is being paid to cooperation with leading international companies. The implementation of the planned measures will improve the efficiency of railway transportation and further enhance the safety of passenger and freight services.

The relevant proposal was presented at a Cabinet of Ministers meeting held via videoconference. The initiative was supported, and further work on its implementation was instructed.
