Turkmenistan and Germany Focus on Deepening Private Sector Cooperation

09.02.26

Turkmenistan and Germany discussed expanding cooperation between the private sectors of the two countries during talks between Murad Ozbekbayev, Consul of Turkmenistan in Frankfurt am Main, and Andreas Jahn, Chairman of the German-Turkmen Forum and Executive Director of the Federal Association of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (BVMW). Both sides emphasised the importance of economic diplomacy and direct contacts between entrepreneurs for fostering long-term partnerships.

Representatives of German business circles were invited to participate in the International Investment Forum IFT 2026, Investing in the Future of Turkmenistan, as well as in the exhibition dedicated to the 18th anniversary of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.

TMT Consulting Group will co-organise IFT 2026, having previously acted as a co-organiser of the Days of Turkmenistan’s Economy forum, held on 30–31 October in the heart of Frankfurt am Main’s business district, in partnership with the Turkmen Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Consulate General of Turkmenistan. This collaboration opens new opportunities to strengthen business ties between the two countries and attract investment.
