OJAR ASIA is participating in the 5th Imam Abu Hanifa National and International Trade Exhibition, currently being held in Kabul, the capital of brotherly Afghanistan. The exhibition is one of the country’s most significant and prestigious trade and investment platforms, bringing together representatives of government institutions, business communities, investors and entrepreneurs.
As the only construction company from Turkmenistan represented at the exhibition, OJAR ASIA is showcasing its flagship projects currently at the preparation and implementation stages.
The centerpiece of the company’s exhibition display is the project for a modern high-speed highway connecting Serakhs – Mary – Serhetabat. The proposed project will link Turkmenistan’s border with Iran to its border with Afghanistan, creating an important transport corridor across Turkmenistan. Its implementation will help strengthen ties between the two brotherly countries, expand access to the markets of Iran, Afghanistan, Central Asia and Europe, and enhance Turkmenistan’s transit role in the region.
The company is also presenting a modern warehousing and logistics complex under construction in Afghanistan at the dry port of the Turghundi railway station. The facility is designed for the storage, handling and transshipment of cargo between rail and road transport. Its implementation will contribute to increasing freight volumes, developing cross-border trade and strengthening transport and logistics links between Turkmenistan and Afghanistan.
Other initiatives on display include a hotel and logistics complex and a modern flour mill currently being implemented in the city of Serhetabat, near the Turkmen-Afghan border. These projects are aimed at serving growing trade and transport flows, developing cross-border infrastructure and ensuring a stable supply of high-quality products to the Afghan market.
The modern OJAR ASIA exhibition stand, designed with national motifs of Turkmenistan and Afghanistan, has attracted considerable attention from visitors. On the very first day of the exhibition, bilateral B2B and B2G meetings were held, during which the prospects for investment cooperation and the joint implementation of infrastructure projects were discussed.
Participation in the exhibition reaffirms OJAR ASIA’s commitment to serving as a reliable partner in the development of modern infrastructure, strengthening business ties and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between Turkmenistan and Afghanistan.
