On November 6, 2026, a two-day Turkmen-Chinese Business Forum commenced in Shanghai, China, bringing together representatives of government institutions, business communities, industrial enterprises and companies from Turkmenistan and the People's Republic of China.

The event is being held as part of the 9th China International Import Expo (CIIE 2026) and aims to expand trade, economic and investment cooperation, strengthen business ties and promote industrial collaboration between the two countries.

At the beginning of the programme, representatives of the Turkmen and Chinese delegations visited the National Pavilion of Turkmenistan at CIIE 2026. This was followed by the official opening of the Business Forum, whose central theme is "Developing the Great Silk Road: A New Stage of Strategic Partnership".

The first day's business programme features five thematic sessions dedicated to key areas of Turkmen-Chinese cooperation.

The forum is being organised with the participation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and Chinese partner organisations. “Ojar Asia” company is serving as the Premium Partner of the event.

“TMT Consulting Group” company is the Organisational Partner of the forum, contributing to the coordination of the business programme and fostering cooperation between business representatives of the two countries.

The Turkmen-Chinese Business Forum creates additional opportunities to strengthen business contacts, expand investment cooperation and develop new joint initiatives that contribute to the advancement of economic relations between Turkmenistan and China.
