Turkmennebit, Dragon Oil to Expand Cooperation in Turkmen Caspian Sector

Chairman of the State Concern Turkmennebit, Guvanch Agajanov, and Dragon Oil CEO Abdulkarim AlMaazmi discussed current cooperation in Turkmenistan’s Caspian Sea sector and explored potential avenues for further development during talks at the Turkmenistan pavilion at the ADIPEC 2025 international exhibition in Abu Dhabi.

Both sides expressed mutual interest in strengthening the partnership and maintaining constructive dialogue in the energy sector, the Turkmen Embassy in the UAE reported.

Guvanch Agajanov also met with Saeed Al Tayer Chairman of the Board of Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) and Dragon Oil, on Nov. 3 at the Dragon Oil stand. They reviewed ongoing cooperation, assessed the outcomes of Al Tayer’s recent visit to Turkmenistan, and identified potential areas for further collaboration.

Dragon Oil highlighted its 25-year partnership with Turkmenistan at ADIPEC, demonstrating the long-term nature and effectiveness of bilateral cooperation in the oil and gas sector.
