Turkmenistan’s Modern Protocol: A Step Towards International Standards

Turkmenistan intends to modernise the Protocol Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, enhancing the level of organisational and protocol support in line with international standards. The country’s growing diplomatic activity, the hosting of official visits, and participation in international forums require a more efficient and professional service.

Special emphasis is being placed on the training of specialists: plans include educating young diplomats at specialised centres, exchanging experience abroad, and inviting foreign experts to conduct short-term programmes in Turkmenistan. This will combine modern approaches with best international practices and strengthen the country’s global image.
