On the sidelines of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, a trilateral meeting was held between the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov.

According to the official website of the President of Uzbekistan, the parties discussed the expansion of mutually beneficial regional cooperation and the promotion of joint projects.

The parties highlighted opportunities for cooperation in the fields of energy, transport and logistics, industry, and agriculture.

At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached to develop promising projects for practical collaboration, the source noted.
