
Turkmenistan and Malaysian Companies Explore Trade Cooperation in Kuala Lumpur
A business meeting aimed at enhancing bilateral trade ties was held on June 12, 2025, at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Malaysia. The event was jointly organized with the Malaysian Consortium of Medium-Sized Enterprises, according to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Malaysia.
The meeting was attended by Martin Ang, President of the Consortium, as well as senior representatives from several Malaysian companies, including Intelligent PIE Consulting Sdn Bhd, Marrybrown, Julie’s Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd, Mega Fortris Berhad, and i-Chem Solution Sdn Bhd.
Participants discussed ways to expand economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and Malaysia, with a focus on identifying new business opportunities and potential investment areas.
The event underscored the growing interest of Malaysian businesses in Central Asia and highlighted Turkmenistan’s commitment to strengthening its economic presence in Southeast Asia.
