
Turkmenistan and Japan to Hold Joint Business Forum
Turkmenistan and Japan are preparing to hold a bilateral business forum, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Nokerguly Atagulyyev reported at a government meeting on Friday, according to Turkmenistan’s official media.
Atagulyyev said Japanese companies operating in investment, industry, oil and gas, logistics, healthcare, construction, education, and services sectors have expressed interest in participating.
From the Turkmen side, the forum is expected to include representatives from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, as well as relevant ministries and agencies.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized Turkmenistan’s active participation in key international economic initiatives and highlighted the successful operation of the Turkmen pavilion at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan. The head of state instructed officials to ensure a high level of preparation and execution for the Turkmen-Japanese business forum.
The meeting also reviewed several other state matters, resulting in the adoption of corresponding decisions.
