The forum “Days of Turkmen Economy” has started in Frankfurt.
The “Days of Turkmen Economy” Forum opened on Thursday in Frankfurt am Main, Federal Republic of Germany.
The two-day event brought together representatives of the business communities of both countries to discuss prospects for bilateral cooperation.
At the forum, participants are discussing a wide range of topics — from trade and economic relations and attracting foreign direct investment to the development of transport and logistics corridors and energy partnerships. Special attention is given to issues such as the transition to a “green” economy, digital transformation, and the development of e-government.
Among the priority areas are cooperation in the agricultural sector and the efficient management of water resources.
The forum brings together representatives of more than 50 leading German companies, banks, and industrial associations, as well as 51 Turkmen companies and a number of government organizations.
Among the German participants are Deutsche Bank AG, Commerzbank AG, BOMAG GmbH, CLAAS GmbH, John Deere International GmbH, BASF-Intertrade, and others. The event also features the participation of the German Eastern Business Association, the German Agribusiness Alliance, the Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI) agency, and the Frankfurt Economic Development Agency.
