President of Turkmenistan Signs Resolution on the Development of Turkmennebit State Concern

The President of Turkmenistan has signed a resolution aimed at strengthening the material and technical base of the Turkmennebit State Concern. The document is intended to support the further development of the country’s oil and gas sector.

During a government meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Guvanch Agajanov reported on a set of measures designed to modernise the concern and improve its operational efficiency. The draft resolution was presented for the consideration of the head of state.

The adopted measures are aimed at ensuring the efficient operation of major oil and gas fields, conducting exploration drilling and developing new sites. After signing the resolution, the President instructed that further work be carried out to increase the production capacity of the concern.
