Logistics New Bridge and Keymir Kör Avenue Inaugurated in Arkadag City
Arkadag City marked the inauguration of a modern bridge and Keymir Kör Avenue on Wednesday, underscoring Turkmenistan’s continued investment in transportation infrastructure development.
In a symbolic gesture noted by official Turkmen media, the presidential aircraft carrying Turkmenistan’s President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on a working trip from Ashgabat to Balkan Province flew over Arkadag city during the opening ceremony.
Constructed by Turkmen entrepreneurs, the new bridge connects Gokdepe Avenue with Keymir Kör Avenue. It spans 627 meters in length and 29.5 meters in width, featuring a carriageway of over 12 meters in each direction, a 5-meter-wide median strip, pedestrian sidewalks, and landscaped zones. The structure rises 9 meters high, blending functionality with urban aesthetics.
Residents of Arkadag city expressed appreciation to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and National Leader of the Turkmen People Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for their continued focus on social welfare and modern urban development.
The commissioning of the new highway and bridge is expected to significantly improve traffic flow and connectivity in the area. Built using advanced technologies and compliant with international safety and quality standards, the new infrastructure enhances both travel comfort and road safety for citizens and visitors.
This project represents a key milestone in Turkmenistan’s broader efforts to modernize its national road network.
