
China Launches New Rail Freight Route to Turkmenistan
China has launched a new international rail freight route linking Qinghai Province with Turkmenistan via Kazakhstan, marking another step in the expansion of regional transport connectivity. The new China–Central Asia logistics corridor is expected to reduce transit times to 14–15 days, improving cargo transportation between China and Central Asian markets.
The launch of the new China–Turkmenistan railway route is seen as an important milestone in strengthening international transport links and enhancing trade and economic cooperation between China, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan. The corridor is expected to support more efficient cross-border logistics and facilitate the growth of regional commerce across Central Asia.
