International Events Scheduled in Turkmenistan for 2026

23.12.25

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan has published the schedule of international exhibitions and forums to be held in the country in 2026. The calendar reflects the steady development of Turkmenistan’s exhibition and congress activities, as well as the growing interest of the international business community in cooperation with the country.

A prominent place in the programme is occupied by events marking the 18th anniversary of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. From 17 to 19 March 2026, a specialised exhibition will take place alongside the Conference of Members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, providing an important platform for discussing priorities for private sector development and expanding business cooperation.

Particular attention is drawn to the International Forum on Attracting Investment into the Private Sector “Investing in the Future of Turkmenistan” (IFT 2026), scheduled for 18 March. The forum will build on the success of IFT 2025, held on 18 March of the outgoing year, which marked a new approach to attracting direct investment into the private sector of the national economy.

TMT Consulting Group acted as a co-organiser of IFT 2025. The forum brought together more than 500 participants from 25 countries, including 180 foreign companies and over 180 domestic entrepreneurs. Business meetings and negotiations were held in B2B and B2G formats, resulting in the signing of 21 framework agreements.

IFT 2026 is expected to attract even broader international participation and to serve as an important step in strengthening investment dialogue, promoting private initiative, and unlocking the potential of the Turkmen market for foreign partners.
