
II Week of July: 14 Transactions Registered on SCRMET
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) registered 14 transactions last week, the Turkmen state news agency reported Monday.
For foreign currency, entrepreneurs from Afghanistan and Uzbekistan purchased base oil, liquefied gas, and sodium chloride, produced by the state concerns Türkmennebit and Türkmenhimiýa.
Business representatives from Serbia, the UAE, and Afghanistan acquired unprocessed dried licorice root, dyed fabrics, men’s shirts, and Portland cement. The total value of export deals exceeded $1.47 million.
On the domestic market, Turkmen entrepreneurs bought thick licorice root extract, base oil, aerated concrete blocks, cotton soap residue, and fatty acids from cottonseed oil. The total value of internal deals exceeded 5.81 million manat.
