Construction of Social and Industrial Facilities to Continue in Turkmenistan

Turkmenistan's vast economic potential will continue to be harnessed for the benefit of its citizens, consistently improving living standards and constructing new social and industrial facilities. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasised this in his address to the country's older generation on the occasion of the International Day of Older Persons.

«By building new cities, districts, modern villages and towns, and large industrial enterprises, which clearly demonstrate the confident progress of Turkmenistan—one of the world's most powerful and wealthy nations—along its chosen path of creation, we are further improving the standard of living of our people. For the sake of a prosperous and happy life for the people of Turkmenistan, with great love for our Fatherland, in unity and solidarity, and taking into account the enormous potential we possess, we will continue to implement this large-scale work at a rapid pace», –the head of state noted.

The President of Turkmenistan also emphasised that the priority of the implemented policy is the interests of the individual, who is considered the main asset of society and the state. Based on this, the country is creating all the conditions for a consistent improvement in the social and living standards of the people and is committed to caring for every citizen, especially the older generation.
