Conference Marking the 18th Anniversary of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan

A scientific and practical conference entitled “Science, Education, Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Era of the Revival of the New Epoch of a Powerful State” was held at the International University of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in Ashgabat to mark the 18th anniversary of the establishment of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.

Rector of the university Hydyrguly Kadyrov highlighted the dynamic development of the national system of science and education and emphasised the importance of creating favourable conditions for the comprehensive development of young people, including access to quality education, engagement in scientific and entrepreneurial activities, and cooperation with leading international research and educational centres.

During the conference, university lecturers presented reports on the development of private entrepreneurship, financial technologies, international business in Turkmenistan, the export potential of Turkmen entrepreneurs, and the role of women in business. The materials of the presentations were published in a special conference proceedings volume.
