IFT 2026: Strengthening Investment and Business Cooperation in Turkmenistan
On 18 March 2026, Ashgabat will become a centre of international business attention. On this date, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan will host the International Forum on Attracting Investment into the Private Sector, “Investments in the Future of Turkmenistan” (IFT 2026) – a key platform for dialogue between business leaders, investors and financial institutions.
The Forum is organised by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan in partnership with TMT Consulting Group. The event is aimed at strengthening the private sector, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, and expanding international investment and business cooperation.
The development of the private sector, support for entrepreneurial initiatives and the attraction of investment are consistently implemented in Turkmenistan as part of the state’s economic policy, initiated by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and successfully continued under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov. In this context, the organisation of IFT 2026 corresponds with the country’s strategic objectives for sustainable socio-economic development.
A Platform of Opportunities for Business and Investors
IFT 2026 is designed as a practice-oriented platform where investment ideas are transformed into concrete projects and partnerships. The Forum brings together entrepreneurs, investors and representatives of the international business community interested in sustainable business development and expansion into new markets.

As part of the preparations for the Forum, participant registration is currently open, allowing companies to confirm their participation in advance, present investment proposals, schedule negotiations and develop individual business meeting agendas. This approach ensures that participation in IFT 2026 is both efficient and result-oriented.
Special attention within the Forum programme will be given to investment opportunities across various sectors of the economy, including industrial production, agribusiness, agriculture, logistics development, digital solutions and innovative projects, reflecting the broad potential of Turkmenistan’s private sector.
IFT 2026 continues the successful tradition established by the inaugural forum held in 2025. The outcomes of IFT 2025 demonstrated strong international interest in Turkmenistan’s investment potential: more than 500 delegates from 25 countries participated, over 400 companies were represented, 21 memoranda of cooperation were signed, and 187 business meetings were held in B2B and B2G formats. These results created a solid foundation for an expanded and even more practical format of the Forum in 2026.
International Cooperation and Practical Outcomes
In 2026, the Forum will focus on delivering tangible business results. Participants will be offered:
— direct negotiations with investors and business partners;
— presentations of investment projects and start-ups;
— business meetings and professional consultations;
— opportunities to enter international markets and implement joint initiatives.
IFT 2026 will also provide Turkmen entrepreneurs with a convenient opportunity to invite international partners and conduct negotiations within a professionally organised business environment. All necessary organisational and advisory support will be provided to Forum participants.
Synergy with the International Private Sector Exhibition
IFT 2026 will be held alongside the International Exhibition of Achievements of Turkmenistan’s Private Sector, organised by the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan to mark the 18th anniversary of the Union. The exhibition will take place from 17 to 19 March 2026 and will enable Forum participants to gain additional insight into the potential and practical achievements of the country’s private sector.

Invitation to Participate
IFT 2026 is not merely a business event, but a meeting point for ideas, investment and partnerships shaping the future of Turkmenistan’s economy. Participation in the Forum opens opportunities for business development, the establishment of international connections and the attraction of investment into real projects.
