Turkmenistan Delegation Participates in International Investment Forum in Tashkent

A delegation from Turkmenistan, headed by Deputy Prime Minister N. Atagulyyev, took part in the Tashkent International Investment Forum, held from June 9 to 11.

The forum was attended by heads of state and government from Bulgaria, Slovakia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Azerbaijan, as well as executives from a number of foreign companies and representatives of the media.

As part of the forum’s agenda, N. Atagulyyev was received by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. During the meeting, the parties discussed key issues related to the further development of Turkmen-Uzbek relations of friendship, good neighborliness, and enhanced strategic partnership.

During the visit, the Deputy Prime Minister also held talks with Uzbekistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjaev, according to reports.
