Turkmenistan’s Ambassador to Belgium, Sapar Palvanov, met with Brussels Africa Hub President Mouctar Bah at the Turkmen Embassy in Brussels.

The two discussed the activities of Brussels Africa Hub, an international platform connecting African business communities with counterparts in Europe, Asia, and other regions. The organization supports economic and investment cooperation, strengthens business links, and promotes sustainable projects aimed at Africa’s socio-economic development.

Palvanov highlighted the potential for mutually beneficial ties between Turkmenistan and African countries, emphasizing cooperation in the agro-industrial sector. He noted Turkmenistan’s experience and capabilities in sustainable agriculture, based on modern approaches to food security.

Both sides expressed interest in practical engagement between Turkmen and African business communities, including joint business events, forums, and exhibitions to enhance economic and cultural ties.

Bah praised Turkmenistan’s achievements in sustainable agriculture, food security, and energy, noting the country’s potential contribution to partnerships with Africa. He said he intends to visit Turkmenistan to explore economic opportunities and direct contacts with Turkmen entrepreneurs and government institutions.
