UAE Investors Explore Opportunities in the Turkmen Market
The private sector of the United Arab Emirates has expressed interest in expanding investment cooperation with Turkmenistan. The statement was made during a meeting between Turkmenistan’s Ambassador, Bayram Bayramov, and the Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), Abdulla Sultan Al Owais, as well as the Secretary-General of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Humaid Mohamed bin Salem.
The parties discussed prospects for expanding trade and economic ties and implementing joint projects. Representatives of the Emirati business community noted the improving investment climate and expressed readiness for strategic partnership.
The Turkmen side reaffirmed its commitment to deepening cooperation and invited UAE businesses to invest in priority sectors of the national economy. In particular, the upcoming International Forum to Attract Foreign Investment into Turkmenistan’s Economy — IFT 2026 — is going to become an effective platform for presenting projects, establishing direct contacts and reaching practical agreements between the business communities of countries all around the world.
