Turkmenistan Seeks to Attract Austrian Technologies to Its Construction Sector

Turkmenistan is interested in integrating Austrian technologies into its construction industry. This was reported by TDH in connection with the visit of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, to Austria.
Austrian companies are actively participating in major urban development and industrial projects in Turkmenistan, introducing advanced technologies that meet international quality and environmental safety standards.
One of the priority areas of cooperation is the transport and communications sector. In the context of the revival of the Great Silk Road and the development of transcontinental East-West corridors, the expertise of Austrian partners in logistics center management and railway infrastructure is of particular importance for Turkmenistan as a key Eurasian transit hub.
The agenda also includes cooperation in the energy sector and the transition to a green economy. Partnerships in renewable energy, energy efficiency improvement, and CO2 emissions reduction open new prospects for joint collaboration.
