Turkmenistan invites Korean business to 2026 international events

Turkmenistan has invited business circles from the Republic of Korea to take part in trade and investment events planned for 2026. This was stated by A. Nazarov, Deputy Chairman of the Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, at the 6th annual meeting of the "Korea–Central Asia" Economic Council, held online.

The Turkmen side emphasised the consistent development of cooperation with the Republic of Korea and noted successful joint projects, including the construction of a petrochemical complex in Kiyanly and the modernisation of the Turkmenbashi oil refinery complex.

The meeting was organised by the Korea International Trade Association (KITA), the chambers of commerce and industry of Central Asian countries, and the Korea Foundation.
