Turkmenistan Invites Germany to Develop Transit Corridors
The Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan, Ahmet Gurbanov, participated in a meeting of the foreign ministers of Germany and Central Asian countries with representatives of the German business community.
Deputy Gurbanov highlighted the successful experience of cooperation with German companies and outlined priority areas like: transport and logistics, modernization of railways, development of the Turkmenbashi seaport, and Germany’s participation in establishing the East–West and Middle Corridor transit routes.
The Deputy noted promising sectors for investment, including energy (hydrogen and green projects), chemical industry, textiles, agriculture, water management, IT, and artificial intelligence. Special attention was given to financial, banking, and healthcare cooperation. Turkmenistan confirmed its readiness to strengthen engagement with German companies both bilaterally and within the Central Asia–Germany framework.
