Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan Aim to Strengthen Business Cooperation

Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan discussed enhancing direct connections between entrepreneurs and creating favorable conditions for joint initiatives.

During the meeting between Mergen Gurdov, the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, and Ravshanbek Alimov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Turkmenistan, the parties reviewed prospects for expanding trade and economic cooperation, as well as the 2026 bilateral event plan, including the fifth meeting of the Turkmen-Uzbek Business Council and joint business forums.

Special attention was given to the participation of small and medium-sized enterprises in exhibitions and forums in both countries, which will help strengthen partnerships and increase the volume of mutual trade.
