Turkmen Ambassador Presents Credentials to Thailand’s King

On 10 February in Bangkok, Turkmenistan's Ambassador Mukhametniyaz Mashalov presented his credentials to His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn of Thailand. The monarch congratulated the ambassador on the start of his mission and expressed his intention to visit Turkmenistan in the future, signalling potential for cultural and tourism exchange.

The ambassador conveyed greetings from the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen People Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, highlighting Ashgabat’s readiness to expand cooperation with Thailand in trade, economy, humanitarian affairs, and political dialogue.

After the audience with the King, Mukhametniyaz Mashalov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, Sihasak Phuangketkeo. The Minister assured full support for the Turkmen mission in Bangkok.
