“The Pearl of Memory”: Presentation of the National Leader’s Book in Azerbaijani

On 22 December, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted the presentation of Hakyda göwheri (“The Pearl of Memory”), a book by the National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, published in the Azerbaijani language. The event brought together diplomats, scholars and parliamentarians from both countries, serving as clear evidence of the deepening humanitarian and political dialogue between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan.

Speakers highlighted the symbolic and practical significance of the publication, noting Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov’s contribution to the expansion of regional cooperation as well as new cultural and charitable initiatives, including joint projects between specialised foundations. The Azerbaijani edition of the book was described as an important step towards strengthening spiritual ties across the Turkic world and fostering a deeper understanding of the historical roots of Turkmenistan’s policy of neutrality and its role in the contemporary international architecture.
