President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is set to make a state visit to Turkmenistan next week. The announcement was made by Turkey’s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Alparslan Bayraktar, during a meeting with journalists in Istanbul.
According to the Minister, the visit will include discussions on cooperation in the field of natural gas supplies. Bayraktar noted that the start of gas deliveries from Turkmenistan has become an important development for both the Turkish and European markets, highlighting the significant potential for transporting Turkmen gas to Europe via the Southern Gas Corridor.
