President of Turkmenistan Orders Salaries to Be Paid by 20 December

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has instructed that salary payments to employees of all state and private institutions be strictly ensured by 20 December. The directive was issued during a Cabinet meeting, where Deputy Prime Minister Hojamyrat Geldimyradov was tasked with providing a detailed report on the implementation.

According to the deputy prime minister, Turkmenistan’s GDP grew by 6.3% between January and November 2025. Industrial output increased by 10.1%, retail turnover by 13%, and foreign trade by 9.1%. Budget revenues were executed at 100.5% and expenditures at 97.6%. Average wages across large and medium-sized enterprises rose by 11.9%, with all salaries, pensions, allowances and student stipends paid in full and on time.
