Ministers Review Bilateral Contact Plans

According to the press service of Turkmenistan’s MFA, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov conducted a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

During the call, the ministers reviewed a broad range of bilateral issues, with particular attention given to the practical implementation of previously reached agreements, as well as to the timetable of forthcoming contacts and joint activities. The sides also underlined the importance of coordinating efforts within multilateral frameworks, notably the Commonwealth of Independent States and cooperation among the Caspian states.

The conversation concluded with an exchange of congratulations marking the professional holidays of the diplomatic services of both countries.
