Infrastructure Development in Arkadag City

On 7 March, the National Leader of the Turkmen people and the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, visited the city of Arkadag to review the progress of construction works under the second phase of development. During the visit, he inspected a number of industrial and social facilities under construction and held a working meeting with the heads of relevant agencies.

Particular attention was given to the development of the industrial zone and the establishment of a medical cluster. The presented projects of administrative buildings and production complexes were reviewed with consideration of international standards, including requirements for medical institutions.

While inspecting the city park under construction, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov proposed adjustments to the design of several sculptural compositions, noting the importance of reflecting Turkmenistan’s historical role along the Great Silk Road. The Park project is regarded as one of the key elements in maintaining the ecological balance of the “smart city”.
