Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the head of the Turkmen-Austrian Society

During his visit to Austria, National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty (People's Council) Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with Neda Berger, head of the Turkmen-Austrian Society, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan reported.

During the conversation, the parties discussed the state and prospects of bilateral relations, as well as the activities of the Turkmen-Austrian Society, which, according to the meeting participants, makes a significant contribution to the development of trade, financial, and investment cooperation between the two countries.

Special attention was paid to the cultural and humanitarian dimension of bilateral ties. In particular, the role of the Turkmen-Austrian Symphony Orchestra "Galkynyş," created at the initiative of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and bringing together musicians from both countries, was noted.

Berger thanked the National Leader for his attention to the development of bilateral dialogue and emphasized that the Turkmen leadership's support for cultural and humanitarian ties serves as the basis for their further strengthening.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to expand humanitarian cooperation and expressed confidence that cultural interaction will remain a priority in relations between Turkmenistan and Austria.
